The October issue of Mojo, the UK music magazine, includes a covermount CD called "Made In Britain". Billed as "the sound of a new England", it features tracks from various artists from the years 1977 to 1983. Included is the Alien Sex Fiend song "I'm Doing Time In A Maximum Security Twilight Home" (possibly the longest song title ever?), although true fans out there will know that this song wasn't written until 1985! But never mind, it's the thought that counts!!! The Fiends are in good company with bands like their mates The Meteors, Sham 69 (The Fiends say 'ello to Jimmy Pursey), The Damned (wotcha Captain), The Ruts, Soft Cell (hey Marc), & Barking's Billy Bragg.... In the magazine this track is listed as being taken from "The Best Of Alien Sex Fiend" CD (which it is) but it also originally appeared on ASF's 1985 Maximum Security album (aka The First ASF Compact Disc), both of these CDs are currently available from Blue Crumb Truck the Official Alien Sex Fiend Online Store. In 2005 due to public demand this classic 1988 album by Goth legends, Alien Sex Fiend, was re-issued & moved into Anagram Records Goth Series Collection. It was given a new catalogue number, CDM GOTH 22. Although the front & back cover artwork is the same as the original release, the re-issued CD can be distinguished from the original by the additional Goth Collectors Series logo on the front & a clear see through left hand panel with the writing Alien Sex Fiend - Another Planet. Also on the re-issue there is a Nik Fiend artwork featuring lyrics from the song "Another Planet" on the body of the CD disc itself. Plus the original booklet has been replaced with a 4 page fold out funky picture of Nik Fiend in full fiend colour & the booklet includes an additional artwork which was originally used on the vinyl LP back cover. The CD features 15 tracks, including cover versions of Hawkwind’s "Silver Machine", The Rolling Stones’ "Satisfaction" and the single "Bun Ho!" – all performed in the Fiend’s own unique Gothic Sci-Fi style. In 2004 the "Here Cum Germs" CD was re-issued & moved into Anagram Records new Goth Series Collection. It was given a new catalogue number, CDM GOTH 21. The original 8 page booklet has been replaced with a poster which incorporates most of the original booklet pictures along with the limited edition poster which was in initial pressings of the original 1989 CD pressing.
