We're just back from our trip to Poland & Germany, & full on organising the next fiendish excursion!! - more news on that soon! A big thank you to Krzysztof & all of our loyal fans in Poland, it was great to FINALLY get to play a show there after so many years.... then onto Berlin, met up with a host of old f(r)iends, thanks to Wolfie for looking after us, what a show - sold out, the audience singing along to "Now I'm Feeling Zombiefied" (in tune AND in time! Well done you lot!) was amazing, we were about to hit the curfew but just had time for one more song, so we launched into "Boneshaker Baby" with duelling guitars, which we hadn't played since 1991... Thank you to all of the fans who travelled to the shows to see us... it's a trip we will never forget! There will be photos coming soon here.... Nik and Mrs Fiend |

Emerging from the sweaty environs of the notorious "Batcave" club in London's sleazy Soho in 1982 and now celebrating their 25th year, Alien Sex Fiend take their crazed live show into an unsuspecting Poland (Gdynia on 23rd November) followed by a full moon stomp in Germany (Berlin on 24th November). Fifth on the list of artists with the most indie single chart entries, Alien Sex Fiend will be blasting out songs spanning their entire career. From early hits like "R.I.P." and "I Walk The Line", MTV's Beavis and Butthead classic "Now I'm Feeling Zombiefied", through to their soon-to-be unleashed monster of a new single "One Way Ticket To Venus". With the outrageous sounds of Mrs Fiend's bastard beats and killer keyboards driving the insane antics of singer, Nik Fiend, the gruesome twosome will be accompanied by a ghoulish spider-webbed stage set, comprising mutilated mannequins, body parts, skulls, bones and garbage cans. The hair raising Alien Sex Fiend Live Experience is a total audio visual assault. WARNING! Faint-hearted and closed-minded beware - neither God nor exorcism can help you now. |

| NEW SONGS - In between all the stuff which we've been plotting & planning above, we have also been working on new material.... including the song "One Way Ticket To Venus" which has come on in leaps & bounds since we first premiered it in its VERY raw state at 2 of the live shows back in January... it's sounding f***ing fantastic... We're working on other song ideas & have some amazing sounds appearing & we're very excited at the prospect of unleashing them in your direction.... BUT it's gonna take a while.... maybe a single first before a full album.... but definitely not for release this year - we're not gonna put a release date on ANYTHING - we made THAT mistake before!! AND with the way things have been lately we have no idea what life is gonna throw at us next!! plus we'll have to fit any writing/recording in between the other stuff BUT we will keep ya informed as to what's what & what's going on here... More news on all this as it happens....STAY TUNED |   |
| OTHER NEWS #1 - Guitarist Jon Klein from Specimen has recently been in touch with us for a good ol chat, first time in a while that we had heard from him, and Jon has been in touch with Ollie Wisdom singer with The Specimen... Not sure what's afoot, but it is the Batcave's 25th anniversary year as well, and there are rumours flying about the possibility of ASF and Specimen doing a Batcave show to celebrate the anniversary... | OTHER NEWS #2 - Cherry Red Records (our old label) are putting together - with our help in part - a double CD of mostly 12" B-sides & alternative mixes, and other tracks, some previously unavailable on CD. Possible tracks include: "Here She Comes" & "Can't Stop Smoking" and perhaps "School's Out Completely" all from the original "I Walk the Line" 4 track single/ CD... "Buggin' Me", the "Shit Mix" and/or "Plip Plop Mix" from the "Smell's Like..." 12" single, maybe "Camel, Camel" and the "Ravi mix(es)" from the "Here Cum Germs" 7" and 12" singles etc - we're not altogether sure about the track listing (nor are they right now!!) nor when this will happen but more news as & when... Nik and Mrs Fiend have done a massive interview with American magazine
Deathrock.
The article should be several pages long and will feature a number of colour
and B+W pics of the band across the years..... Spain Interview There's definitely something going on out there... Spanish mag Popular1 - in their words "the best spanish rock and roll magazine" - has also conducted a fiendish interview, this was originally intended to be part of a feature on post punk and goth rock along with other bands like Bauhaus, Killing Joke, The Mission & Mick Harvey, etc, but the journalist loved Alien Sex Fiend & their replies so much that he has been on to his Editor to give more pages over to the ASF article........ |

| Here's a run down of what's
been going on.... & what's to come...
There have been a number of changes & things happening since the
last time this site was updated but there was no point in telling you all
one thing & then changing again! ... we have been getting dicked about
by some people especially on "the business" side of things -
not to mention another load of legal bollox (which wastes SO much time,
thanks to various knobheads...) - & we've been hanging about waiting
for this or As for other people - well we can't guarantee anything 100% - &
we'd be foolish to think otherwise. All we can do is deal with a situation
whenever it occurs & whatever it is, & go on from there. That's
not to say we don't make mistakes, but we do our best... that's all we
can do! we have at times considered stopping - sometimes things get very
difficult, as life does for everybody - whatever path you are going down/have
chosen... we all fall over at times, but each time (so far! touch wood!)
we've dusted ourselves off & had a re-think & have carried on...
this is what we do - Alien Sex Fiend... this is why we put up with a certain
amount of shit... & at the same time we're well aware of how lucky
we are to be able to do our music & art etc & to have such |

Rumours are abounding about Alien Sex Fiend possibly playing
gigs in Germany, Poland, Spain and maybe even the USA...tho' US immigration
/ visas is a minefield... we know from all the emails and you lot on MySpace,
that everybody is well excited at the possibility of us getting out to
do more shows... as soon as we get confirmation on ANY shows, we will let
you know, so PLEASE check with this website before setting off for
any gigs, & - even better! - join the email
list which will keep you up to date with all that's going on &
future fiendish happenings......

Sonic Seducer 101 Icons

Recently the well known German magazine, Sonic Seducer, put
out their issue SONIC SEDUCER - 101 ICONS featuring 101 Alternative
Rock icons, including our very own Nik Fiend who is featured alongside
luminaries such as Marc Almond, Ian Astbury, Nick Cave, Jaz Coleman, Ian
Curtis, Andrew Eldritch, Dave Gahan, Diamanda Galas, Al Jourgensen, Peter
Murphy, Gary Numan, Nivek Ogre, Genesis P. Orridge, Trent Reznor, Siouxsie
Sioux, Robert Smith, Tilo Wolff & 83 others! (I could have gone on
there.) On being asked what it was like to be considered an "icon" Nik said "It's fucking great, & a big compliment" & laughing he added "But it's not an occupation is it? I mean I can't fill in any legal forms with Occupation : Icon! can I??? Nor can I sit about with my feet up saying "I'm being an icon, darling"! Artists DVD compilation "In Goth Daze Vol 2".....
Following the success of its first DVD collection to feature the genre, "In Goth Daze - The Gothic Video Collection" (CRDVD38), Cherry Red release another DVD featuring the best from the Goth movement. From its first major explosion in the late 1970's / early 1980's, the Gothic scene has always been most fervently supported by its many followers. It is still incredibly popular around the world, as the many compilation albums dedicated to the genre testify. The scene has thrown up many great songs, bands and characters - many of which are featured on "In Goth Daze Volume 2".
